YouTube announced that anti-vaxxers will no longer be welcome on the video-hosting platform, reports The Washington Post.

YouTube already had a policy in place to ban videos that make false claims about the coronavirus vaccine. This latest announcement extends the ban to other vaccines as well. As part of the new policy, YouTube removed the accounts of high-profile vaccine skeptics Joseph Mercola and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

"We'll remove claims that vaccines are dangerous or cause a lot of health effects, that vaccines cause autism, cancer, infertility or contain microchips," Matt Halprin, YouTube's vice president of global trust and safety, told the Post. Read More »

Anti-vax covidiots are like drowing people that would punch the dolphins who came to save them.

Last week, Brazil's far-right president Jair Bolsonaro declared he would not get vaccinated before attending this week's UN General Assembly in New York. "Why would I get vaccinated?" the confused gentleman asked in an online broadcast."

Coming from a country that just reported 150,000 new Covid cases in one day (a number that may reflect previously unreported cases over the last few months), his question is preposterous. But according to The Guardian, Bolsonaro had "signaled that he will snub New York City vaccination rules," and that he was nowhere near the point of getting a Covid shot. "Once everyone has been vaccinated, I'll decide my future."

Cut to Bolsonaro in New York, looking a bit snubbed as he stands outside an eating establishment, eating a slice of pizza. Read More »

Idaho public health leaders have activated “crisis standards of care” allowing health are rationing for the state’s northern hospitals because there are more coronavirus patients than the institutions can handle.

The move came as the state’s confirmed coronavirus cases rocketed in recent weeks. Idaho has one of the lowest vaccination rates in the US.

Governor Brad Little, a Republican, called the move to limit care “an unprecedented and unwanted point in the history of our state” and urged residents to get vaccinated against coronavirus. Read More »

Too bad she interviewed so many covidiots, which makes me wanna throw things at the screen.

If “they’re not bad people,” why are they selfishly refusing to get the shots, and protect others?  That sure sounds like they’re bad people.

Unvaccinated teacher infected half her students with Covid, CDC finds | Coronavirus | The Guardian

  • Teacher read to class without a mask despite Covid symptoms
  • Teacher infected 26 people at California elementary school

An unvaccinated teacher in a California elementary school infected half her students and 26 people in total when she contracted the Covid-19 Delta variant, researchers for the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) found.

The researchers said the teacher attended school for two days despite displaying symptoms of Covid-19, and read aloud to her class without a mask during that time. Infections corresponded to the classroom’s seating chart, with the students sitting closest to the teacher the most likely to be infected.

Authorities said the report showed why vaccinations, masks and other prevention measures remain critical to prevent Covid-19 infections as US schools reopen. They also warned that anyone with symptoms of Covid-19 should stay home, to avoid infecting others. Read More »
