What I’m really proud of is the fact that he made SURE the audience understood why the caller was being an idiot. He made a PERFECT comparison, gave the caller an honest chance to re-evaluate and change his mind. His point landed, everyone knew it, even the caller (note his pause and almost hesitancy after being asked).

But when the caller decided to bulldoze on anyway, because god forbid actually listen to the other person in the conversation, the expert cut him off and refused his time. And good for him.

Macron insists those who do not protect themselves and those around them from Covid-19 by getting vaccinated are "irresponsible" and thus deserving of such a fate.

"When my freedom threatens that of others, I become irresponsible," he said. "An irresponsible person is no longer a citizen."

Polish Covid advisers quit over concerns government not following science

More than two-thirds of Poland’s Covid-19 medical advisory body resigned on Friday, saying the government was not heeding their advice in its response to the pandemic.

AP reports:       

In a statement, 13 of the board’s 17 members said they were experiencing a ‘lack of political possibilities to introduce the optimal and globally tested methods of fighting the pandemic’.
They also complained of a ‘growing tolerance’ in the government for state officials who play down the threat of the pandemic or the need for vaccination.
